Spring Engineering, Inc. was asked to design a ground up new flagship unit 101,000 s.f. living facility for 55 year old and over residents in New Port Richey, FL. The facility consists of eighty (80) units, an onsite 1,000 S.F. common space living area with twenty-five foot tall ceiling, kitchen facilities, fully equipped exercise facility, full service hair salon, handicap accessible pool, shuffle board, main entrance access with a covered drop off area and 24/7 concierge. The building is designed to meet the criteria of the Fair Housing Act (FHA), American Disabilities Act (ADA) and is certified by the Florida.

In 1996, SEI was asked to provide architectural/engineering services for over 15 Extended Stay America/StudioPLUS Hotels throughout the state of Florida. Some highlights from the multiple projects include: Extended Stay America/StudioPLUS Hotels in Maitland FL – SEI completed comprehensive architectural and engineering designs as well as construction administration for a 45,447 SF ESA hotel and a 50,901 S.F. StudioPLUS Hotel (both 3-story). This project was completed in 1999 and the construction cost was $7,000,000.00. Extended Stay America Hotel located in Lake Mary, Florida – SEI completed architectural and engineering design with construction administration for a 43,137 S.F., 3-story hotel with a construction.

In 2011, Spring Engineering, Inc. was tasked with providing a community health center for the residents of Clearwater, Florida. Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Inc. is a not-for-profit health care organization, and has been providing affordable, quality primary health care services to the residents of Pinellas County for more than 25 years. This 11,000 S.F. facility is comprised of 29 exam rooms devoted to general practice and pediatrics. The scope of the project was to renovate an existing pediatric and dental practice and join the two existing structures with a new addition. The project also contains labs and administrative areas.

In 2003, SEI was commissioned to provide complete architectural and engineering design for the development of two (2) urgent care facilities for Morton Plant Mease hospital, one in Largo (Bardmoor) and the other in Port Richey. The facilities consist of exam rooms, two (2) full procedure rooms, x-ray, dark room, lounge and nurses’ station. The Bardmoor facility also has an attached rehabilitation center. In 2009, Spring Engineering, Inc. was commissioned by The ARC Nature Coast to design a facility that provided educational and independence training for adults with developmental disabilities. The project also was to serve as a safe haven for this often overlooked community in their most vulnerable state during hurricane events.
